All the Single Ladies

Well girls, it's February.  We all know what that means.  Candy hearts, flowers, cards, chocolates... Valentine's Day.  For those of us who are single, not the most exciting of days... I personally find it equally depressing and ridiculous.  I mean, do you really have to have a day set aside to make you tell people something you should be telling them every day of the year if you truly love them?
But I suppose that is besides the point.  Every year I end up trying to ignore February 14th, seeing it as just an ordinary day because I really have no reason to celebrate it, but no more.  We shouldn't be excluded from enjoying a holiday just because we happen to be single.  So for those of you who are living in singledom, or even those of you who don't have plans with your significant other on the 14th, I propose a get together.
How does dessert and a chick flick sound?  I personally can't think of much better than chocolate and Channing Tatum.  So if anyone is interested in dressing up a little and going out on the town instead of sitting at home, please comment, e-mail or text me and let me know and we'll get a concrete plan in place.  The restaurant choice is up for debate, but we are definitely seeing The Vow.  (Trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcL24s-S6ns )  Regardless of your plans that day, let me just say that I love you for always being here with me.
Now I must go back to writing scenes of almost kisses and disappointing dates.  Ah the joys of writing and living vicariously through my characters. :D
