Quotable Ramblings

I quote things.  It's what I do.  Music, T..V shows, movies... they kind of stick in my head like sports stats for guys.  So today, when they started talking about arguably one of the most quotable movies I've come across on Seekerville, I felt a need to sit down and watch Princess Bride.
I'm always shocked to find out someone I know hasn't seen this movie.  (If you haven't, stop what you're doing right now and go watch it.  I'm not kidding.  Drive to the nearest Rogers and hope they have it.  Grab Monty Python and the Holy Grail while you're there... and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.  It's a Gilmore Girls thing.) Anyway, for those of you unfortunate and sheltered human beings who haven't sat and enjoyed this classic over and over like the rest of us, and aren't taking my previous advice, some of these quotes will be lost on you.
They sell you from the beginning.  Fred Savage, sick in bed, playing retro baseball video game.  I mean, come on!  If that's not the makings of a true cinematic masterpiece, I don't know what is.  Then in comes Peter Falk with his stylish hat, and soothing voice, with a book to read to young Fred.  He begins the tale of love between Buttercup and Westley, and if you aren't captivated by the time Westley proclaims that: "This is true love. You think this happens every day?", then by all means turn off the DVD player and go play some solitaire. (But you'll be missing out on the fire swamp, the shrieking eels, sword play, Andre the Giant, Gideon from Criminal Minds sporting a mullet and Spanish accent, and the lisping teacher from Clueless... Your loss.)
Watching this movie today reminded me again how often I quote it without realizing.  Becwaz wuv, twue wuv is what bwings us togewew hewe today.  (That might be a paraphrase, but it's still amusing.)  Or "I am Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."  "It's not so bad really. I'm not saying I'd want to build a summer home here, but the trees are quite beautiful."  "Let me esplain. No there is too much. Let me sum up. Buttercup is going to marry Humperdink in little less than half an hour." (You really need the emphasis on the h's to get the true Inigo effect.)
Tell me what lines you like to quote most often (from anything, not just Princess Bride).  It'll keep me amused if I get writers block tomorrow.  "You just shook your head! That doesn't make you happy?"
Well, I must go.  There's so much time and so little to write if I want to meet my weeks end deadline.  Wait "strike that; reverse it."

I can't believe you forgot... "As you wish"

something along the lines of, "I can't apologize for that... I'm not certain as to what end it came out of"

I could do this all day! Lol

You do realize I'm probably going to be leaving quotes all day? Okay, first up, National Treasure quotes (Quite a few of them..) and then a few Gilmore Girls!

RILEY: When are we gonna get there? I'm hungry. This car smells weird.

RILEY: It's a big blue-ish green man... with a strange-looking goatee... I'm guessing that's significant.

Patrick Gates: [to Abigail] And he dragged you two into this nonsense?
Abigail Chase: Literally.
Riley Poole: I volunteered.
(Why does the "I volunteered" seem like something I would say?)

RILEY: Our evil plan is working.
(I would definitely never say anything like that..)

RILEY: And that's where we lost the Department of Homeland Security.

RILEY: Albuquerque. See, I can do it too. Snorkel.

RILEY: Oh look. My tax dollars at work, coming to arrest me.

LORALAI: : Coffee, coffee, coffee!
(That's totally not what I say in my head daily...)

LORALAI: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you, my friend.

Okay, I'm done. For now. Must actually do work.. For awhile.

I'd be completely fine with doing this all day! Haha.

Hockey puck, rattle snake, monkey, monkey, underpants!

I got your good ship lollipop right here.

And one from Beauty and the Beast that I must fit into my writing at some point: "Well there's the usual; flowers, chocolates, promises you don't intend to keep."

There's that bull again. Oh look, there's me and Bob at Sea World!

And just for Eric: DUCKIES RULE!

Haha, keep 'em coming ladies.
